White maps and dome lights works.

    All is good!

It used to be like....refresh Meso website every 5 seconds, then sign up for email notification and now just be patient and check his website, this thread, all his vendors and people in TW listing what they have for sale.

Just ordered one from Runnin4Tacos, you can check there. IDK if they know it's popular and therefore buy it upon release to stock.
Their site said in stock (2nd gen); you'd have to check 3rd gen.
So I wasn't sure if it was true or not. But got a tracking number ship notification today so I guess it really was in stock.
Odd part is it didn't say v1 or v2, and the pic showed a single color, while the option available to click was dual color.
I'll see what it really is when it gets here.
But even if it's not their latest greatest version, it's still probably a great upgrade to run at least for now until getting updated later, and even possibly selling the old one then.
Because as I've found out with their new fronts installed, their parts light things up
whereas the stock parts don't light up anything...
even with Osram LED bulbs inside

Thank you for sending a replacement set (MESO has amazing customer service), but I am still having issues changing color and I want to give this a try. Are there any instructions on how to solder these for idiots like me? The way I understand it I need to completely remove the black square (diode bridge?) then remove the wire from the X's and solder it to the corresponding A's? Then its just guess and check on the polarity like the old version?IMG_3038.jpg IMG_3039.jpg

Yes. I did it myself and it’s great. Not too hard at all. Did Austin send you the video?

My driver map has gone from not easily able to switch to unable to switch. Next time it bothers me I might put a ticket in, but I pretty much keep it on red.

Thanks the help @daveeasa and @MESO. It looks like I had the correct solder points circled for the dome light. Before I get in there can either of you confirm that I have the right points for the map lights too? Thanks!

Removing the diode bridge completely, you would want to desolder the ends to input A. Some trucks are just affected differently, and it has to do with voltage. I do have a new map light design with a digital switching instead of a manual relay which should alleviate the inconsistent switching. Anyone that ran into this I will send them a set of new ones when they come in.

I can’t remember if I did my map lights. I can’t remember if they had any trouble. I think maybe they work ok, just double click but NBD?

I honestly want dimmer map lights. They blind me and I can’t see my overhead garage door opener switches. @MESO I would pay dearly for a dimmable option.

Is this to fix the two presses needed for the initial color mode switch in the maps?

I've had the same thing happen to mine. They'll flash for a fraction of a second anytime I do something like hit the locks, turn on the windshield wipers, or when I turn off power to any aftermarket accessory. First I thought it was my aftermarket fuse tap location, switched that, still happened, completely unplugged the aftermarket wiring, still happens.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe adding some small resistors in series with the hot wires for the maps/dome might help prevent whatever little voltage is making it to the lights after turning off other accessories. Maybe the stock ground isn't enough to handle the amp draw of the maps/dome boards too. I dunno. Electrical gremlins are difficult to kill.

Mine also flicker as they dim when the doors shut. I always figured this had to do with PWM as the LEDs try to dim to off.
