    I really want the red map lights because I like the idea however everytime I try to do anything under red light I get pissed and wish I had a regular light lol

    I work nights and I bought the red. I was the same way with red until I started using a red light in my work truck. I'm used to it now and like it but they take some getting used to.

    I actually switched out to red last week to try it out.. I love it so far. Super easy on the eyes. Yeah it's not super bright.. but that's what my dome light is for.

    Yup, I work in animal control and I'm constantly in and out of my truck and the red saves my night vision.

    I thought the same, I have to use red at work at night (yacht captain) so I’m pretty used to it, but was also worried I may not have enough light if I needed it. I had Meso switch my order to red once I saw his plans for the dome light, when I need white light that should be more than enough. I anticipate having to leave that dome off (not on door mode) and only using it when I need it.

    I always feel the same way! Now all I want it's one of those small LEDS in the overhead console that is always on and shining down at the cupholder area. Just enough to be able to see down there at night without turning the light on.

    All my Honda's have had that little light and I miss it!

    Received these today. Love them. OP, message sent.

    Few pics of install. Other light is cheap LED from Amazon which keep flickering which is why I bought these.

    Will update with nighttime pics.

    Found it easiest to install but simply firmly pulling panel down and accessing from behind.

    These are the smoked lense. They are bright. Very nice and waaaaay better light than the LED bulbs from Amazon. Happy with the purchase.

    Wow if those are smoked the clear lenses must be insane!!

    I have the cheap set from Amazon as well. One led from that package, for the dome light, has stopped working twice. On this new set i recently received the dome bulb is noticeably bluer than the others... Aggravating.

    I'm going to get these and the dome when it's available. And be done with the aggravation.
