    As a matter of fact, the @mesojdm ultimate side view mirrors can be wired so that the puddle light illuminate as you approach.

    Yes you sir are correct, and I love that feature personally. Caught me off guard for a while too tho lol,bc I'd walk up and be like what the hell I know I intentionally checked them lights. Imagine the convenience of all ultimate domes lighting up the whip when you approach:bananadance:

    So I locked the truck, interior lights went out, 2 min later I noticed the interior lights come on, I am aware that the door un locks when I am close w/ the key fob, but I have never noticed the interior lights come on w/o unlocking the truck. Note my experience is with rando crap LED bulbs not Meso's.

    Yeah it does,it's just a convenience feature to let you know there are no monsters in your truck before you grab that door handle and yank it open.Now You can rest easy knowing your truck lights aren't going to overheat and burn your truck down, or drain your battery:locked:

    No one never noticed it before because the OEM bulbs are shit. Now we have proper lighting.

    Since we are on the weird light quirks subject, I did find out something fun with my compustar remote start the other day.
    If I press lock 3x to remote start and accidentally hit lock 1x more, it will cancel/interrupt start, but permanently leave my DRLs on. After multiple tries starting and restarting the car, checking all light settings and unplugging the battery, the solution turned out to be activating the remote start again (3x) and then waiting a minute and hitting 3x again to deactivate.

    That is exactly right, I learn something new almost daily about mine still after 4 months of owning it!I'm also that guy that didn't let the dealer show me anything at all,hell he handed me the keys and that's the missy contact we had. I wasn't there to play games lol.

    Couple days ago I was in my cruiser (Ford Exploder) training a rookie, and I pressed the map light button and it started pouring water down through the light/overhead console onto our computer. After that nonsense, I’m done with surprise button-press actions for a while

    That's odd,I was on board for a remote start until I found out the truck shuts off after the door is open. I realize it still heats or cools when needed, but it was a buzz kill for me.I will have one as soon as they find a way around that one small issue.

    To my knowledge, no way around that. It’s super hardwired into all Toyota’s. As a LEO, trust me you want that. Most keyless entry/remote start vehicles without it can be driven for 5+ miles before the engine will actually “immobilize.”
