Custom overhead console switch panel

I just finished this one. It's a 2012 console but will fit all 2nd gen Tacoma's.

Did you start making these again or just a one off?

 

Clean. Fiberglass molded, and some sanding I assume?
You should throw it in a mold and start pumping them out!

I have three more to finish. This is one of them.

I thought about it. I believe I would have to make one out of wood or metal to be able to make a mold. Just don't have the time to do this.

 

Wonder what happened. These things use to sell like crazy. Is there something new out there that I haven't seen?

 

How do you fish the wires up there?

 

Lots of options out there. The sunglass holder switch holder option seems to rule the day now.

Through the firewall, through the dash, up the pillar, and across the ceiling. You need to remove the lower dash, pillar cover, and drop the headliner.

Or hillbilly style and duct tape it over the dash, up the pillar and across the ceiling.

 

What Taczilla said. Its the one the easier trucks I have wired.

 

I was hoping I could use a fish tape or a ginormus Zip-Tie to fish the wires.

 

I didn't use anything but my fingers. The hard part was getting them through the firewall but Toyota has a grommet on the driver side that I fed my wires through.
