Will the CH4x4 small push buttons work?

So I got the switch you showed me on CH4x4, the small push buttons. Did you have to make an mods to make it fit or it slid in perfectly

yes, the small ones should work, no mods needed. My panels are designed for them.

Perfect. I ordered the center piece today, how long does it usually take to get to my door?

Do you need to install all the panels or can I just order the venter panel?

depends on your needs. You can do all or just a single one like the center piece. They will fit with oem panels.

Is there a way to get three switched in the center instead of two? I have crawl control and moonroof.

I have the moonroof too, its a pretty tight fit with that large moonroof switch. The only way to fit more up there is if there was no moonroof.

I have another design in the works you might like instead.

I was messing around with the overhead console and found that you can remove that middle panel without have to cut the plastic welds off and opening the console. I used a flat screwdriver and just a little force through the two cutouts in the back housing and that middle panel just popped right.

That is correct, the only reason one would need to cut the welds is to replace the blank on the right side where a sunroof switch would be located on some models.

Oh, okay! Gotcha! I thought I had to take it all apart to swap that center panel. Well I was excited to find out I didn't and I'm excited to get everything up and going!

This is exactly what i was looking for! Any chance you might make the center panel in a 3-button option at some point?

Glad you like it, I'm working on other panels. 3 in the center will be tricky and involve more cutting. For now I'm trying to work on pieces that require less cutting.

That's kinda what i figured. I went ahead and just bought the two panel. Excited to get my lights and horn buttons moved to where they're more accessible and can be seen. thanks for being so innovative!!

Quick question re: install of switches tho... do you know if i need a fuse installed in the upper console for the two new switches or can i just run all the wiring through the console and headliner? Sorry if you've already answered this. I'm happy to read more about it if you have a thread suggestion. Thanks again!!

    Thank you,

I wouldn't run a fuse up there, you need to have easy access to it. Run all the wiring through the headliner and setup the fuse somewhere were its easier to access later on.
