    Reading your post makes me believe that you plan on running the consumer / device directly through the switch. If you get the switch through mic tuning or cruiser head 4x4 I believe they both recommend using a relay to activate the device. The switches are not high current units. 3 amps only.

    For the illumination of the switch just steal power from the traction control switch illumination wire.

    I have no fuses in my head liner, they are near the battery for both.

    Ordered center two slot switch panel for the wife’s tacoma. Purchased a beat-sonic front camera and only slot left was the large one next to the rear window switch and beat sonic includes the smaller style switch unfortunelty. For $350 (including camera) shouldnif had options for either small or large switch. Anyway look forward to installing for the wife. Hopefully shipping doesn’t take weeks lol :)

    Any drawbacks of putting my seat heater controls up there? I have an SR5 with the 3 switch panel on the dash. Swapping that out to a 5 switch is a little more expensive and more work. TIA

    I can't think of any drawbacks. Hardest part about this mod is running wiring up to the overhead console.

    Is there a thread anywhere on how to hollow out inside of the passenger overhead? The driver side and center pop out for your replacement but i couldnt get the far right box out and when i look on the inside its blocked off
