    perfect. i just wasnt sure if the blanks were for the toyota style switches or the carling type.

    Oh I gotcha, I’d assume they will both work since I’m almost positive the hole dimensions are the same (carling & long Toyota...not the short ones). But if it’s anything like on my truck in the factory locations a little help with a file made sure the fit was perfect.

    i remembered i have an ottraw/carling switch right after i posted that, it will need some help with a file, they dont drop in.

    on a related note, is there a vendor somehwer that makes a Normally closed toyota style switch? been looking for one for my ABS/VSC delete, but cant seem to find one.

    Might be able to swap in a NC switch to the pcb inside the switch housing. What you are calling a switch is really a case with an activating button that encloses a printed circuit board that has the actual switch soldered to it.

    You could use a relay. Commodity automotive relays have a contact for relaxed open or relaxed closed. It toggles the other way when energized.

    thats what im thinking. should make the switch wiring a tad easier as well

    Yes, a 5-pin relay would be easiest. The switch can either close or open the circuit depending on whether you use pin 87 or 87A.
