It would be nice if he could make one to go on the left hand side a pillar

OME 885s on Bilstein 5100s set at 0 with 1/2" plate spacers. OME Dakars with Bilstein 5100 Extended Length Shocks. 16" Pro Comp 7032 wheels wrapped with 285/75-16 Duratracs
How will these be attaching to the console? Screws from the backside?

CH4X4 switches. But to be honest they are all made in china and usually the same size.
That’s the next thing I have to figure out. I made the lip around the perimeter for the sole purpose of mounting screws through it into the stock console. But I’m not sure how I feel about exposed screw heads. Althouh It would make the install cake. Other idea is screws from the back and into my panel hat would be hidden, but the end user would have to remove the console buckets to get behind it for said moutImg screws.

I think screws from the backside would be better than the front, definitely. What about removing the doors and inner pieces completely and enlarging the switch panel so it covers the openings? You're gonna have to cut through the doors and inner pieces anyways bc of the switch length and wires. Just a thought. I've been wanting to do something like this for years, but unfortunately don't have the resources.

No chance of it just being snapped in? The original sun glass holders just snap in I assume? I know 3D printed parts aren't as great as injection molded parts but I like to try lol. I plan on getting this at some point http://mictuning.com/6-switch-panel...ness-for-vehicle-with-12v-dc-power_p0462.html so if you happen to have the ability to design one for this maybe otherwise could you send me the 3d file so I can change it to fit the mictuning panel? Not that this is even close to being on my pallet at the moment. Slowly taking care of other projects before I even need more switches.

For the most part it’s a click into place thing but the larger holder I know for sure has a little pain in the ass spring setup that makes reinstall a little trickier. But it would be awesome if it could be made to basically fit in place just like the stock door.

Edit: the issue is the stock doors are flush so when they rotate out they have room to fit their rear end up into the cubby space. With the switch panel angled like it is I bet it would rotate like 20degrees and make contact with the console body and unable to open all the way for both install and removal, unless you cut the backside of the console off.

Also @mesojdm youve got what looks like a maybe 05-08 or 09 maybe even 05-11 type overhead console, without the compass of course, but the newer ones don’t have the little tabs, they sit flush and are spring open.
