I pull my dimming circuits from the gear shifter lighting plug. It’s on the left rear, green and green white stripe. Easy to access.

I've done this and if you can solder its easy to swap resistors or change led colors. The resistors are 1/4W axial lead while the leds are 3mm wire lead. Typical aftermarket switches use 1k to 3k ohms and are much brighter than oem switches. I have 10k now but the value to make them all even depends on the laser etching on the switch, more etching(white showing) means you'll need a higher value resistor. There's an led and resistor pair for both general illumination and switch "on".

So all of my switches that I’d like to reduce brightness are on the same circuit that taps at a single point. Would I just insert 1 resistor like an in-line fuse to darken the entire circuit?

That would work if the leds use the dash illumination power but not if the same source feeds both the leds and the switch. Putting a resistor in line with the switches could prevent them from being able to activate a relay or whatever device they're supposed to control. But if it's just the power that feeds all the dash lights then yes, you'd just be bringing them in line with the rest. Probably need to use larger than 1/4w though, maybe 1w. The exact value is hard to guess but you could try 6.8k or 10k ohms.

    + @mesojdm

I'm also trying to mount my panel (switch pro version) in the spot furthest from the windshield. I'm choosing that location because the other spot interferes with the rearview mirror. I can't seem to figure out how to mount all three items together: 1) console mounting screw to the roof, 2) switch panel to console, & 3) switch pro to switch panel. Seems like I can only choose two and need to rely on press-fitting the third thing. Any ideas? @Blackouts did you use the oe console mounting screw? Example:
    • If I use the oe screw in the back to mount the console, there's no way to mount both the panel and the switch pro because I wouldn't have access to the screw

@pnwovrland I got the 10 switch panel and only used 9 switches, so I could put a screwdriver up through the empty switch slot to mount the console.

I don't see being able to pop the switches I'm using out from the front, so I'm going to leave that hole empty or maybe cover it with a piece that can be removed.

ARE Z-series shell, ImMrYo mirror lift, always on fog-lights.
Just making sure before I order one of these, the 10 switch option will work to put the OTRATTW Contra XIV switches into? Just wanting to make sure before I wind up a few hundred dollars in with switches and the panel. Thanks for the help!

No, the 10 panel won't fit V-Series Contura (or any Contura switches that I know of) - it will fit the smaller size of Toyota push button switches.

Best place I found to get them is AOB:

I do not recall the name of the company, but I had a friend in Australia purchase and ship them to me....they were not cheap.
