There’s no dimmable illumination circuit up there that I’m aware of since all 2nd gens have are the map lights and they just run full brightness. Maybe the early 2nd gen temp/compass guys do. Either way it seems easier to build a harness plug with 2 longer wires that are to be run down the A-pillar than 2 short wires that you have to deal with on install.

It has a mounting clip. If your cover encapsulates that it could pop in and out for occasional setting adjustments. It can work just fine:cheers:

I've been out of switch space for a while now. Super happy to see you making these.

Sub'd because this is awesome... makes me immediately regret drilling the hole in my right knee cubby for the ditch light switch this past weekend.

Hey @mesojdm I had an idea for the sPod / SwitchPro setup.
If you make the depth a little deeper to fit hook and loop behind the control screen then you can still remove the sPod / SwitchPro control screen and have a hole behind it for getting access to that mounting screw.

Does that mean you can make my retro “JDM af” disco light fit inside of a panel that rests in the larger of the two center consol cubbies? The one closest to the climate controls? Please..? I have nowhere else to mount it. 0B417501-8FA5-4560-A7AA-3F457F2C16B6.jpg

I just ordered a pile of switches from ch4x4 like 200 bucks worth. Any day they should be arriving! I got it painted the other night. I’ll shoot some pics when I get home
