    I just picked up the clear coat today and dropped it off to the shop, so hoping to get my taco back for my birthday in a few weeks! I can't wait!

    IMO brown looks ugly on tacomas. I think a nice brown belong on big body luxury vehicles and going a lot of chrome is too tacky.

    The entire surface is finally covered with the base coat. Now time for the doors to be installed and fully prep for the transparent pearl and clear coat. I'll post more pictures right after the 3rd stage of painting.

    I was in the area so I thought I'd stop by and take some more pictures with the doors on and cab fully sprayed with the base.

    Since the bed was off, this was my chance to install the custom u-bolts and 4'' blocks I purchased a few months ago from "BEEFED TACO" I swapped out the 3 inchers so my truck sits leveled with the lower front.

    Oh and here's a nice shot of the great work Brian aka beefed taco fabbed up for me a couple years ago. I've been driving the taco daily ever since and everything's smooth since day 1! Custom welded C-notch with custom bump stop mount, and with reinforced back metal plates.

    I believe you can get away without a notch if its 4'' or under with QA1 shocks

    Its from Grant Kustoms. Superior quality but took about 3-4 weeks to ship out.

    Front: OEM X-runner Coils, 1.5'' Custom Drop Spacer, DJM Upper and Lower Control Arms, and OEM X-runner Bilstein Shocks = approx. 4.75''-5'' Drop

    Rear: OEM Pre-runner Leaf Springs, QA1 Shocks, 4'' Beefed Blocks, Custom Beefed Notch w/ Bumpstops = 5.5''-5.75'' Drop

    from your old pictures before you took your truck to paint, the rear seemed to look lower than the front. what did you have in the rear (besides the 3" blocks). I might be doing the same thing somewhat but going with a basic (as basic as I can get) air ride.
