Yup. Still have the ones I purchased off ebay. So far mine are still looking brand new with no peeling and the truck always sits outside on my driveway. My driver's side has leak issues though whenever I wash my truck. I already got the weather sealant but been lazy to open the headlights up. I'm waiting for some funds so I can do it all at once with a retrofit.

    - middle straight

the "box" is just a filler so that you can put in your license plate v. just bolting it onto a smooth roll pan like how the op has it. you can ALWAYS get a box for your plate, and put it in on your own but this is considering that you know how to do it.

I had shaved door handles on my 97 taco, and I hated how sometimes the solenoids wouldn't work or they would get rusted from moisture. Besides, I like how the 2nd gen's handles look. :D

Hey TW! I just recently purchased a Canon PowerShot s80, and had some time to take some pics of the taco. I still haven't had the chance to get a full wetsand buff and polish. I'm waiting for a scratch resistent cover before I send it back to the shop. Any recommendations?

I also need to spray the whole underside frame and leafsprings with some 3M rubberized Undercoating to cover the overspray and rust.

the front tires make the rim look like it's poking out some. do you have any of that happening, the rear looks normal.

    Yo thanks dude!

What do you mean it's poking, like if my tires were stretched? I bought the front pair used since the original ones were eaten up by camber wear, so maybe that's why they don't match. I did put 25mm h&r spacers up front to push out the wheels a little more.

nah nah, I can tell the dif on that lol. meant they looked like they were sticking out more - but you answered it for me

"I did put 25mm h&r spacers up front to push out the wheels a little more."

reason for this? I'm still in debate on weather or not I should do up my truck JDM style or just mini style.

I didn't like how the camber made my wheels look, so I added the spacer to even it out a bit. My plan is to go with the flush staggered look with JDM wheels. I also plan to pull the bed side panels out about an inch or 2 to fit 10 or 10.5 with low offsets.

haha sorry I meant it even out with my rear wheels. The camber stayed the same. I really wish there was a way to fix the camber issue, but only way is to fab the front suspension.

you could probably raise the UCA's about 0.5" from the OE bolt holes. Because your DJM UCAs are despcifically for a 3" drop, it could alter the camber ... but I am not sure as to it being a good thing or bad thing. Looks as if they are already extended too (inthablood raised his 1" from the OE bolt holes, but he was bagged - used Firestone 2500 bags with the upper bag bracket welded to the side of the frame).

Hey TW! I just wanna give you guy an update. I'm planning to remove my front spacer kit and the prerunner leafs to raise the truck a little bit. My daily driven 01 accord coupe will be needing a full maintenance service, and I will be using the taco for my 450+ miles/ week commute for work. I rarely drive this truck because of how low the leafspring hangers are a few inches close to hitting the ground. This makes dips and bumps very difficult to avoid. I'll just wait until this is paid off and I'll send it off to the shop to lay frame. I might also put my t-rex polished mesh grille combo up for sale since I'm looking to change up the front end. I want to install my black billet main piece and go with the chrome bordered grille or just leave the color matched one on there. Any ideas guys?

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I say man, your truck looks great.

I like the idea of the black grill insert into color matched. I think that would look great. I personally would just bag it if you can afford to.

Hey TW, just wanna let you guys know that the truck is back at the shop for another makeover. I decided to go with a 2-stage paint this time and changing it to a light gunmetal color. It's called thundercloud gray metallic from toyota/lexus. Also, I have decided to take down the T-rex polished mesh grilles and swapping it with only the black main piece billet grille. Im still debating if I should shave my door handles too but we'll see. Updated pics will be up soon! :D
