Painted, plasti-dipped, leather, seat covers etc....

Also, anyone have a painted interior with the matching magnetic grey??? I'm about to start it. I wanna see what it's gonna look like...

 

Seriously don't. Unless you are under 18 you are too old for painted interiors.

Only lower your resale and they peel and look terrible.

 

Never too old to spruce up your interior. I have splatter paint on mine, let me see if I can find some pictures.
Get tons of compliments as well.

Not very good pics but I have trd front neoprene seat covers in the rear arw coverking couple other interior modes are led map and dome light flyzeye shifter console led trd shift knob trd all weather floormats and flashlight mod

If you paint the interior the right way, it does not peel

My thoughts exactly! The only thing I've seen that's halfway decent is hydro-dipped "carbon fiber" but even then, too much can look excessive.

Nothing crazy but its a gun metalish black that i painted the kit an around the controls... looks WAY better then the foo foo grey i think...

It's a Tacoma. As long as it isn't salvage titled, resale shouldn't be an issue.

 

I have jumped back into the world of Tacoma forums specifically to see if anyone has messed around with painting the interior. I took a bunch of parts off last night so I could paint it up this weekend. The truck is 10 years old, and I plan on keeping it forever, so time to start messing with it. Worst case scenario - pick up some plastic from a junk yard. I'll post pictures as soon as I get some stuff done.

 

All Mega-threads had to start somewhere right?

 

I feel sorry for the people who plan their mods around what the next owner will like. It's YOUR truck, why the fuck do you care?

Unless it's a lease, why do people care so much about resale to the point they will avoid doing something they otherwise would like? A vehicle is almost exclusively going to be a depreciating asset, you're likely spending a significant amount of time in it now, why not make it more pleasing/comfortable/useful for yourself?
