    Hello,

I'm caught up on the huge pile of planned work for my truck which means it's time to start thinking about what to add to the pile.

This spring I'll be preemptively replacing alt and water pump (which have ~230k original miles on them) and am strongly considering PS rack as well (also original) in prep for some long trips.

I'm pretty sure that the PS lines, or at least the hardware, are nearing end of life due to corrosion.

Does anybody have experience or insight adapting the rack and pump outlets to use stainless braided lines? I am NOT a hydraulics guy and know very little about those kinds of systems - is it a case of buying thread adapter hardware and having the lines made to spec?

    Thanks!

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
What ever you decide you can source parts for !!

Search AN fittings and go from there.

Want to use AN fittings and stainless braided hose or want to go low budget ?

Unless you need a very unusual length hose you should be able to find off the shelf parts

Do you happen to know the factory thread sizes?

Not without looking up close and in person though someone might have a rack out in front of them!
