I have made these in the past. I am judging interest in the 1st gen group on whether I make a new batch. I would make some with a 5 sp pattern and some with a 6 sp pattern for the 2nd/3rd gen.

All of the knobs are black or white. All of the knobs have be engraved and a second contrasting color resin has been poured into the engraving. The balls were then polished and the clear coated.

All Knobs are 2 1/8" in diameter. This is slightly smaller than the factory TRD knobs that are 2 1/4" in diameter. These will fit most people's hands a little better than the 2 1/4" version.

Threads fit Toyota Manual 6 Sp shifters, (M12 x 1.25). I can also make this fit a 5 sp and an Auto. Autos would have a M8 x 1.25 thread.

Price is $80 + $5 shipped to the lower 48 states and 808.

No offense Brother looks nice but why pay 35.00 more when the TRD OEM version looks just as good if not better? To each their own and again no disrespect meant.

    No offense taken.

The purpose of the thread to see if there is a market.

    No - 1
    Yes - 0

By the way, the shift knob in the above post is for a 6 sp. I do not think they offered it in a 5 speed pattern.

    @Sicyota04

Has shown me some pics of his automatic shift lever and this would be a no go for a 1st gen with an auto.

I wonder if you could install one on your J shift 4 wheel drive lever. That one twists off. Just not the normal auto gear shift.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Yeah you can on a jshift, it's the same thread as the manual shift knob.

Any chance of making one 350 grams withe the TRD logo on top, no shift patern? (Same size stick for 2nd gen 6spd.)

I dig the look but always prefered heavier balls.

Also how big? Maybe slightly smaller than a tennis ball would be ideal.

    Always prefered big balls. ;)

I have made some with a 2 1/2" diameter. That could be done.

TRD on top can be done with or without a shift pattern.

I have made weighted balls in the past. I have had a problem with the shift balls cracking after a few years. It is usually in hot climates. The metal core expands at different rates that the plastic shell. I would say I would pass on adding a heavy core.
