    So I have been working on a set of sliders for my DCLB in my "free" time over the last couple weeks. Just got them done and welded on last night, thought i'd post up a few pics of the process. I apologize for the lack of good pics as I was working alone and didn't take time to get a real camera out. I will take better installed pics asap.

    They are made with 1-1/2" .120 wall HREW round tube, 1-3/4" .120 wall square tube, and a little 1-1/2" .120 wall square. Mounting plates and gussets are 1/4" plate.

    I had an idea how i wanted them to turn out but a lot of the design happened along the way. Overall I'm happy with the result. They may not be the burliest set out there but they will serve my purposes well.

    Strength test thanks to the overhead crane :D. Both wheels off the ground and still clearance between the slider and pinch weld thankfully, and it sprung right back after setting it down

    Thanks! Yeah I am definitely happy with the way they turned out. Got them done just in time for our first trip to check out moab too. We leave Thursday so it was a bit of a push for me to finish them this weekend.

    It kinda sucks spending so many extra hrs at work but we have an amazing shop with just about any tool you can ever need so its pretty sweet having access to it.

    Thanks a lot everyone. Man I wish I was in a position to make and sell this stuff. It's been fun to learn so far. Makes me appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into the stuff. But not as much as I appreciate the money savings!

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    If you want to take out the flex from them make two braces interlocking sliders to each other. This will take out frame twist out, and stiffen the setup. otherwise they are probably best looking sliders I had seen.
