Had a shop build it originally but they did a horrible job. So with some time off I built a new one. Didn’t want to block the vents on the back wall and I had the motor to cut around. But I’m extremely happy with the sound of the box! D7853165-BD15-45D5-AC7C-4262A225AA25.jpgA53FC634-4FCA-4C93-9BA5-3C35EBE03F69.jpg3D0C573B-A456-4C76-86D3-965580DA87F8.jpg

I have had a similar experience with paying for a "professionally" built box that came out shitty and rebuilt myself as well. Does it fit in the space pretty well?

Fits perfect! Super snug. Sounds better than the pro audio custom box

Not yet final. Equipment board needs a few more coats. Applying sound barrier today. Equipment board and subwoofer are two separate pieces, bolted together. This way if I ever want to make changes I don't need to redo the whole thing. Just one side. Doing this during the Corona, gave me time to think and plan.

So is the amp on your board only for your low pass?

It’s a 5 channel amp- front/rear hi-pass, sub low pass. Nice amp. I’m happy with it. Separates signals internally.

what did you use for your signal going from head unit to the 5 channel amp? And how does that work with the factory amp?

There’s different options. I used the lc8 to grab signal coming out of my factory amp. However if you have the money, get the pac amp pro and use that for signal. Either way, from what I know, the factory amp must stay. I don’t believe the pac pro deletes the amp.
