Didn't want to step on toes.

Happy to help out getting custom stuff made for people that want it. Unfortunately my free time is not plentiful.

What's the price for the 120v PnP harness? I may be in myself if only to reduce the number of projects on my list.... :frusty:

Looking at what everyone has contributed to the poll, we have more than enough interested people to do a GB. I am going to look at wiring and see if there is a different source for the center console than the 4x4 switch, update my drawings, and submit them for a re-quote this weekend.

There will likely be 3 choices. 1&2 will have two connection points (ILL+ and ILL-) for the illumination circuit and nothing more. #3 will be the switch side PnP with provisions for daisy chaining. You will be able to order your choice of 1 and/or 2 with 3 to have a fully PnP illuminated switch.

    1. Left
    2. Center
    3. Switch (6 foot bare wire standard, optional crimped spade terminals at specified length. 4 terminals so you can daisy chain.)

Sorry just saw this. I actually am about to receive the connectors to verify they are the correct ones any day. Are you just talking the PNP not the OEM Outlet? I’m thinking between $30-45

So, does this harness also include a ground and switched power source, or is it only for the illumination?

It would be great to get a harness that includes illumination, ground, and switched power - that way we only have to run a constant power from a relay for whatever lights/accessories.

I am considering this. I need to find a few good locations to tap into switched + 12 volts and ground.

Any change for something that would work in the overhead? Going to put some switches up there with the @MESO panel.

Hold onto your money for now, lol. I'm still working on this. I have to update my drawings and get things re-quoted. I would also like to get something available for the overhead console too.

Everything will be individual parts so you can mix/match/add what you need. Now that the 2LM is all shipped and caught up with I need to update install instructions for that and then I can get to these drawings.

Thanks for putting in your votes guys. It is looking like we will have enough interest to make the GB work. I am working on drawings now. I think I will be able to make everyone happy here.

The standard parts will require *minimal* wiring on your part. Basically you cut the wire however long you need to get from point A to point B and crimp on the spade terminals. Alternatively, I can provide the wires pre-crimped if you tell me the length you want when you place your order for an additional (minimal) charge. This keeps the people that want a semi-DIY PnP kit, as well as the people that want full on PNP while also minimizing my labor. Once I get these drawings finalized I'll share more info.

    Here's an example:

    PP-ILL100.jpg

This would be connected to the switch. CN5 (nevermind the typo, it's a 0.25" spade) and CN7 are male spade terminals to connect to one of the location specific PNP harnesses. All these PNP harnesses will be fairly short. I have specified 2" max. CN6 and CN8 are provided for daisy chaining other switches using another one of these harnesses. The location specific harnesses will have two sets of two FEMALE spade connectors to allow up to two of these harnesses to connect directly.

CN3 and CN4 are for possible future use in locations where there is IGN+ (switched 12V) available.

Location specific harnesses will be available for Left of the steering wheel, center console, and the overhead console.
