This was the same reason that I clustered the aftermarket switches all to the left of steering wheel. I did put one USB in the center panel but that has a voltmeter built in and I was OK with that.

I guess rerouting the factory wire is not an option?

Nope not as far as I saw. You would have to detach those wires from the main harness and to be honest with you I think that goes straight to the fuse block which would still end up short. Like I said though, maybe someone would be willing to create a harness reverse harness using factory plugs but that's not easy to find for someone like me. That would make it a plug and play application.

Good luck! Normally you have to buy those connections by batches of the thousands

He made one or two of those I believe, but it’s been a while. Those required a lot of work as well to get installed

Hey @mesojdm are you making more of CP8 and LSP5.1? If so when is the next batch? Dying here! Can't believe I just missed them. Just installed your mirror blinkers and the top map lights.

You have got to be an installer. At least your workbench looks just like my old work one with the container full of connectors. Great write-up. Maybe over time it can be fine tuned with others input.

Go to the salvage yard and get both ends of the connector. You'll have loads of fun opening and re crimping new wires but you won't have to cut the factory harness.
