Some photos in my build log but it boils down to a little bit of soldering to the opener board and an aftermarket switch (I went with AOB but any momentary switch will do it.) I didn't choose to convert 12v to 3v to feed the opener, left a new coin cell battery in there for now so it's independent and functional without ignition on.

    Thanks!
I've not even received the notifications from MESO yet! -

    - Just in time too!

I was looking for the overhead 3 switch a couple days ago... and set notices.

I also ordered another panel in the console to accommodate for future growth. I have all but one switch locations already in use from the factory, so space is limited.

Where’s a good place to get switches and blanks for these (small switches)? I’ve found a bunch online, but there are a lot of contradictory listings about sizes in regards to the left panel and the center one. They look the same to me
I like the AirOnBoard light blue ones, but they say they won’t fit. Can anyone out there confirm or help?
    Thanks!

I think MESO's switch blanks are sold out (they were the last time I looked). Someone else asked me about blanks and I think I dug up a link for him but I'd have to search my conversations to find it and there isn't a good search for DM's here. Definitely for blanks you can always start with eBay.

Refer to MESO's excellent documentation here:

Thank you, David. I have these pictures too. I messaged AOB and they said the switches under the climate control was a different size than the left panel. I mean.. I guess I can pop one out and test it for myself. Shit, I sound lazy.

What they mean is that the left panel "tall" is a different size. Not that the left panel "small" is a different size. Their doc/messaging is a bit imperfect in this regard.

For 3rd gen there is really only one size of switch for everything, except for clutch start/cancel and any aftermarket switch plates.

If anyone has successfully painted their panel to make it match the factory texture I would love to hear what products you used and how you did it.

I’m not sure how successful I was. I spent hours on it. @Puppypunter did his first and suggested sanding and this paint from Home Depot:

    687DE121-3615-492A-830E-87E0A5AA409F.jpg

I did 3 or 4 complete rounds of give up, quit, throw a tantrum, sand off everything, clean, paint X coats. Wound up masking for the Switch-Pros to avoid getting it too thick there. I was close to looking at taking it to an auto body shop.

@Empty_Lord has painted some plastic in his truck and used different products which I suspect may hold up better than what Johnny and I used. If I were doing it over again I’d probably follow the lord’s plan.
