Anyone ever remove the lens off the tail light housing? People told me I would have to cut them, but could I heat it up to soften the sealant and pry it open instead of cutting them?

There is no sealant like the headlight assembly has. The two parts of the tailights are sonic welded together.

I’m trying to make some custom tail lights. Anyone ever remove the lens off the tail light housing?
