mine are doing same thing, put them on twice with the RED 3M tape. going to wait until its above 65 like the tape says and see if it makes any difference.

reinstalled mine this past week when it was 70+ out, used 3 strips of the 3M 7/8 tape on the back so I had complete coverage on all the outside edges. Cut the 7/8 strip in half and fitted in the center entire length edge to edge so I had 100 percent complete coverage on back and all the outside edges no gaps to keep water out. So far they are holding 10 times better than the last two times I installed using same tape (2 strips 7/8 with gap middle). Within two days before I had signs showing center was bowing out. Think I got it this time but only time with tell with some weather on them.

I put mine over some heat (I used my stove which is probably not the best solution) to get them perfectly flat. Put new 3m and they are holding rock solid now.

Got to be real careful doing this though.

that was my next idea was to heat up and make flat, see how mine holds up.

Same issue here. I also tried the heat on the stove trick. I had washers on each side and weight in the middle. Bow still there.
Did you just crank the heat a little more and just let it settle itself ?

One side great with 10 year old VHB.
The other side, with brand new VHB and 2mm bow in middle, will not stay....
    Running one side for now...:anonymous:

Sorry, missed the post. I heated it up while bending to shape and dropped it in cold water in the sink. they stayed perfectly straight now.

update on mine, after reapplying again I waited until temp was above 65. Used 2 full 7/8 strips RED 3M Tape from walmart and 1 more cut in half, in middle entire length of badge so I had 100 percent coverage on back.
been almost 2 months now and all is holding great no bowing in middle anymore. They are holding really good now and I dont think they will come off on there own this time.

for those with adhesion issues, clean off the emblem, and panel EXTREMELY WELL, then apply 3m adhesion promotor (pads are available from auto body supply stores), on the emblem, then install the 3m double sided tape. if done correctly, they will not come off. Ski

@MESO. Could you consider making some TRD Poo decals, patches or emblems?

Just pronounce it out loud. It's funny, a joke. But if one existed I would put in on my truck. Supposed to sound like "turd poo"
