Custom TRD START/STOP Button POLL

I got mine a day early as well! Like it, shot the chrome ring flat black will buy the black out kit at some point. Great product installed easily.

 

My button also arrived early! A little troublesome with the install (the supplied tool does like to uncurl) but if you hook the button and then pull slightly towards the center of the button as you pull it out it seems to come a little easier. Went with red trd start stop with small text also and it looks great. Picture will have to wait for now, other bits to de-chrome first

I was told if you play with it too much, it will fall off.

super easy install, didn't even have to remove the panel. But as some said, you need to use some force to get that start/stop button out. Appreciate including the tool though, that was nice.

Only thing I noticed is the button seems JUST slightly smaller or is off. There is a gap towards the 7 o'clock area but is snug up top.

Got mine today, I forgot to order the ring, so I will just leave the chrome one on for now.
Question:
Do you need to remove the chrome ring in order to install the button, or will the tool slide in between??

 

remove the chrome ring. I bent a tab on it pulling it off and cracked it a little putting it back on. Thank goodness it’s chrome and you can’t really tell. Just make sure to keep track of orientation(it does matter) and tabs. If one is bent, bend it back (or break it off)...it will stay
