Didn’t realize he had taken a break? I reached out via PM and we coordinated from there. I know he had some issues with TW notifying him he had messages on here, but other than taking a little while to get everything done, had no issues.

 

According to a few people posting in this thread they have had a hard time getting in touch with him. Always troubling when a reliable seller suddenly disappears for a bit. And I am by no means bashing, troubling in the sense of hoping that everything is ok in their lives. I have heard nothing but good things about the OP from this thread.

 

He has done great work for me 6 months ago. I'm waiting on some headrests I ordered and paid for in August. Couldn't get an answer but he eventually responded a month ago that his email was messed up and he had sent them to me but he believed they got lost by the post office. He tried to track them but they couldn't be found so he was making me another set. Haven't been able to get in touch with him since. Maybe he's just busy, the emails screwed up again, I don't know. I'll give him a couple more weeks then on to plan B.

 

He was signed into TW on Monday, so he’s obviously seen the thread.
I don’t have a dog in the fight and hope all is well with the OP and the customers get answers.

 

Weird. He did take some time to get back with me on a couple occasions, but all in all, took about a month to get it done. Longer than I expected, but worth the wait.

Love my console and shift knob. He did an amazing job on both. However, it took over 3 months from when I shipped him the items until I got everything back. Very frustrating being without a center console lid. Communication was sparse at times and often weeks without an update. I had to reach out on several occasions. As much as I love his work, I personally wouldn’t do it again.

 

Unfortunately still no word from him on my item. Not great as it is over $200 to replace a seat back that he was working on. Then the money I sent him upfront.

 

I was going to do my arm rest but after the last few posts about responses I guessing I will have to pass on this.

Still hoping that whatever issues he's dealing with get worked out and that all those that are invested in his services are made whole again. Life happens, sometimes it just takes time to work things out.

Having talked to him many times, I can't believe he's just disappeared with people's things. I know he has a Facebook page under his name because that's how I first contacted him. Has anyone looked to see if there's anything on there? He always seemed like a straight shooter and hard worker.

 

Nice to see that some are giving him the benefit of doubt.
It would help though if he were to reach out here and without going into detail let folks know that he's working on straightening things out.
A little communication would go a long way!

 

Agreed. I'm dealing with this sort of thing from another "garage vendor" right now. If I could get on Facebook right now, I would do some looking, but work thinks we shouldn't be looking at those sorts of things.

 

Hey everyone, sorry for the absence. Here's my long apology/explanation post.

I am one guy who provides this service, not a company. I have been overwhelmed as of late with orders off of my facebook groups and have neglected TW. I know. Not good. It wasn't uncommon for me to hear nothing for months from TW, so I didn't think twice about not receiving any notification emails. It turns out that I hadn't logged on in enough time that it had logged me out and I wasn't going to get messages from then on.
100 % my bad there. I have had issues in the past with not getting messages, but I don't think that was the case this time. I just neglected TW. I'm sorry for that. TW has never been my favorite platform and that isn't likely to change. I'm typically a mobile only user, but TW isn't terribly mobile friendly as you all probably know. Again, not a legitimate excuse, just a reason.

I apologize to all those who have not heard from me, I will be going through and replying to everyone. I understand that some business will be lost from this and I accept that. This ruined my previously spectacular record. I am finding out what my niche is and am going to stick to it from now on. trying to branch out on other projects for you has caused me some issues.

Another issue I've had is people sending consoles with no way to know whose it is. I always ask that you put a not in the box that tells me your TW name as that is what I know you by and can therefore know what I'm doing for you.

All I can do now is apologize and pledge to do better. I would still much prefer other forms of contact like instagram or facebook, but I know many of you don't use those platforms.
I am accepting full responsibility for my negligence and can only hope to serve you all in the future.
