So I have been feeling like my super bumps are limiting my up travel too much. More so in the front. Sometimes going over small hills I fear I am gonna roll over.

    Anyone ever cut them down?

Yeah I’m only using half my shock also I was wondering about this. Sitting on the bumps and only using half the rod maybe less. Doesn’t seem like the right setup. They make you lose up travel or bump travel. How did you guys cut them?

    How much you trim off?

did it make them more suspectible to wear? Or is the material the same inside

I actually went the opposite direction and added a 3/8 in spacer to the bump stop but mainly to reduce rubbing with the 35's. Also, do you still have the sway bar connected upfront reducing travel?

Took about an inch off. Material is the same inside but it’s of course not smooth anymore. Been off road several times since and like look the same. Can’t say about the long term. I have Took out my sway bar a while back

I haven't cut mine yet, it's low priority on the list, but I'll use a sawzall

be careful.. how you gonna clamp it or secure it. I speak from experience.. coulda lost a finger when I first tried to cut mine on a 14” bandsaw. The rubber really takes a grip. Hack saw will take 15 minutes max for all four.

I went back to stock for the same reason. In the rear I was pounding the bumpstops all day. Back to stock and no more bottoming out.

Thank you for the advice! I was thinking I'd just pull the tires off & cut them on the truck
