    Merry Christmas to everyone.

How do my CV axle/boot angles look? I have a 6112 at max with standard coils/ 5160+ 1" block.

I can hear a slight rubbing sound. What can cause the sound?

Max lift and blocks are not advised

longer CV boot kits for lift are available

Angles are fine, boot slide would help save your boots. As for the rubbing sound.....could be any number of things. Post a video

Thanks, When I say "max" I meant 2" that 6112's are set for.

Thanks will move the inner boot forward. Ride is excellent, I don't feel most the bumps that I use to. Only time I hear the slight rubbing sound is while turning on full lock, Will try to get a video of it. I only have 16k miles.

Just make sure the fins on the inner boot are not touching and you should be good.

Could those fins be causing the slight rubbing sound that I'm hearing when turning?
When I say "max" is the highest notch setting on the standard springs that come with 6112s, Only 2" lift. The blocks are only 1" along with 5160s.

At full lock, the steering stop touches the LCA. When you're moving and the suspension is articulating, there will be a rubbing sound at full lock:

    upload_2023-12-26_11-12-35.png

If you have stock 16" wheels, the aft edge of the LCA could also rub on the inside of the rim depending on the alignment cam bolt setting. Your cam bolts appear to be set to maximize caster, which will cause this rub (happened on mine).

This is all assuming you have stock-size tires. Larger tires can of course rub elsewhere.

    Good point, I'll check that.
