    Hey everyone,
So after work today I noticed a considerable clunking sound coming from the drivers side wheelwell, tried to get under and check it out but it was to dark to see anything. Keeping in mind the truck has a lift kit and tires for almost three years now. Anything is helpful, what do you guys think it might be?

CVs usually make noise while turning first. When do you hear the clunking? Easiest thing to do is jack up the wheel you think it's coming from and shake it down to see what moves

When does this noise happen? Going over bumps? Turning left or right? Pull the wheel off and check that your caliper bolts are tight and go from there. Check all of the linkages, tie rods, swaybar mounts, etc.

Get the wheel off the ground and shake the shit out of it. You will definitely feel a bad wheel bearing. Reach in and check the tie rod ends. Reach in and grab the CV axle. Get a pry bar and lift under the tire and you will feel a bad lower ball joint if it exists.

    Good luck.
