I just installed eibach stage 2 kit on a 21 tacoma with stock ucas. Is this angle of the cv axle safe?

It’s just what happens when you lift IFS. If they’re too steep, grease will usually start flinging out of them. Just keep an eye on em, but they don’t look too bad.

@Brian422 i appreciate the response brotha. You think i can get away with stock ucas? Its only about a 2 inch lift but the stock ucas are on a more downward angle

No not needed but there are benefits to Aftermarket UCA other than suspension travel. But you could upgrade them at a later date if you choose. Not something i would say is a must right now for you.

I don’t think anyone can answer your question. I have not read a single authoritative post or article that defines the max cv angle before you have issues.

The only solid things I can say is that you do not want the cvs to bind nor do you want the axle to contact the sides of the hole (for lack of a better term) in the diff at full droop nor do you want too little down travel.

I suggest you watch these very informative videos.

That looks fine. About the same as mine. I just installed my Stage 2 kit, 3 weeks ago.

If you haven't seen it yet, this is a great video on the front suspension. I believe he goes I to Axle angles in it as well.

The main issue is if the boot fins are rubbing against each other. Ideally that is minimal, so they don’t wear themselves out and split.

you check this with the truck pointed straight ahead on level ground.
