I am finishing replacing my blown inner cv boots with the Porsche 930 boots. In the process of dismounting my cv axles in the beginning, I damaged a dust cover. I bought a new one at the stealership today, but I'm having trouble mounting it fully onto the cv axle. I put it in the oven, and can only seem to get half of it flush with the proper position. Anyone know how I should go about this? Should I go buy a torch and heat it that way?
