I have grease showing around the boots where the smaller clamp is. Original shafts so I expected it with the weather cracked boots. I pulled the old clamps off, they were loose, and replaced with regular hose clamps as a band aid for now.
No ADD, I have manual hubs.
Looking at Napa, I find a few types with a description.

"IMPORTANT INFO: w/o Automatic Disconnecting Differential,w/ Outboard Circlip End"

    Is this the right part?

Also, They show a left and a right. Does it matter?

If the clamp on the boot stopped it from leaking grease out the cv then call it a day :)

    Thank you.
That's what I'm hoping for. Just want to make it through the winter.

If they are OEM and your fix does not work I would re-boot them. You can get re-boot kits from Toyota that come with everything you need. The OEM ones are probably stronger than anything aftermarket.

I had not thought of this. Thanks for the tip, I'll check into it.

It really depends on how many CVs he plans on breaking in the future. If he knows he will be going through a lot then the lifetime replacements would make sense. I personally didn't find the reboot too much work and cheaper than two new CVs.
