Cv axle nut torque spec?

    Can always just grease the threads and reduce torque by 35% percent. You'll want some grease in the splines anyway to prevent rust seizure. 173 ft-lb becomes 112 ft-lb, which is within the capacity of common torque wrenches for lugnuts.

    Toyota uses hub assembly with pressed bearing. The hub goes inside of steering knuckle. So the bearing does not get overtighten. It is not adjustable.
    I did replace 2 on my 2012 and my torque wrench goes to 150. I just added 1/4 turn. It's been 2 years since replacement
