CV axle popped out.

    Sure, but if I’m still having problems with CV axles, it’s not limiting it enough.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    If you're running a sway bar... too much down travel wasn't what caused your problem.

    I'd bet it was your CV wasn't snapped in all the way (as mentioned before)

    Bumping my own thread.

    Does anyone have any recommendations for some aftermarket CV boots that can handle more extreme angles?

    SDHQ and RCV (I think) make high angle boots but I've heard mixed reviews on them.

    Another option while you have the axle out is to do the boot slide mod, slide the boot down 3/4 an inch to space out the fins more so that they don't rub. Only problem is that then the clamp isn't sitting in the groove that it was designed to sit in so you have to make sure you clamp it real good.
