Cv axle popping out of hub

    Yeah an inch gap. But last time I changed the inner seal which shouldn't have anything to do with it but the axle housing was snug against the hub. That lasted about 2 weeks and now it's back flopping again

    Yeah pretty sure it is. I compared it to the one i took out and same length and size. The box it came in has my truck listed on it. The reason I changed it the first time is bc it did this and I thought the cv axle was broken. After I got it out and cut the boot open, I realized it wasn't. But I put the new one on it since I had cut the boot open

    All this started about 6 months after I had the wheel bearing replaced. That's why I wondered if it wasn't seated properly would it cause it to do this

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    It can't be a tundra. Tundras axkes are 3.5" longer. It wouldn't fit to begin with.

    None of thus makes sense. I'd believe that its popping out if the diff but not the spindle. Not with the bolt correctly in. I think you're missing a piece somewhere. The bolt should hold it in.

    Yeah that would make more sense to me too! I'm gonna tear it down again tomorrow and post pictures! Can you post videos on here?
