Need a little help here. I noticed that my inner cv boot was torn and slinged grease everywhere. I wanted to know if i should rebuild these or replace them, Ive heard that the aftermarket CV's are no where near as good as the OEMs so i was leaning towards rebuilding them. Any advice?

If your OEM cv joints are still good in the axles and only issue is the torn boot, then definitely yes rebuild them. Keep OEM quality and cheaper. Yes, it will take a little bit more time but well worth it IMWO

Depends on how you use the truck!!

Hardcore Rock crashing Yea Go with Toyota .

I got New Napa ones the kits from Toyota to rebuild my old ones about 3 years ago .

The Kits sit on the refrigerator still .

I know myself the truck would still sit on jack stands and I would buy another one

Replace, less mess, little bit of warranty and move on.

The joints have been exposed to water for a long time, thats not a new leak.
