Thanks for your help guys. I checked with O'reilly's and they have brand new ones for $70! They dont have any in stock so they are going to check with corporate to see if they could get them. They said it would be around $115 a piece with shipping then so I'm waiting for them to call me back. I'm going to check with napa and a few other stores here then get some ordered. If none of the stores locally have any I think I'll get those ones off of ebay toku58 posted up there.

Aren't the CV angles on a 6" lift better than a 3" lift? With the drop bracket and all.....

Damn, hmmm.... even with the diff drop spacer? I'm curious, I'm gettin onto that mileage... I know they'll eventually go out either way. It'd be nice to compare s/b/s.

None taken. I made sure that they were brand new when I bought them. They may have lied to me, but I doubt it they looked brand new and I was pleased with their performance. They took a beating and held true against some harsh abuse.

Well I just got word back from Oreillys and they said that they could order them. $9 to ship them, $70.99 for the shaft, 5-7 business days to get them in and they are new with a life time warrenty! Almost sounds to good to be true but I'm going to head down there now to pay for them so I guess I'll find out. I'll keep you guys updated on how things go with them.

That sound great ;). Just wash, wax, vacume, change the fluids, clean the filters, fix the axles, adjust the tire pressure before I get back and it's a done deal...:p

I think I'll end up fixing the axles the week before we go camping.... the parts will probibly come in while I'm in Colorado and I'll pick them up on sunday or monday before we go camping. Shouldnt be a problem I hope.

I have been having this popping sound when I turn the wheel or go over a bump with the drivers side wheel. It has been an anoyance for a while now. Just got worse after crusing the beach at Lake Mcconaughy a couple weeks ago. I just messed with the cv's and the drivers side is very loose. Broken at the joint. Bummer.

Would you know who makes those CV shafts? The only company I know of other than Toyota is EMPI. I'm curious to know if there is another company making CV's for our year trucks?

I cant remember the name of the brand at Oreillys it's something like All-Parts. I'll post it up when they come in and I get ready to install them.

whe ncv axles go the click when u turn. put it in 4x4 on dirt obviously and make sharp turns. also when a boot it ripped usually its just better of changing the axle once it rippes the grease flies out and dirt gets in the dirt in there grinds the joint up and it will were out soon anyway.
