Bilstein 5100s, Toytec 620 springs, OME Dakar Leafs, ARB Bumper, Warn 8000 Winch, Grey Wire Mod.
I put a 2" Toytec lift on my 2004 4x4 Tacoma and ever since then I have had trouble with the CV fins rubbing and ripping. Here's what I installed:

    112-620 Eibach/Toytec front coil springs

Bilstein front (Set at 0) and rear 5100 shocks

Old Man Emu Dakar rear leaf springs (Part Number CS046RA/B)

    Front diff drop kit (TAC-DR)

BPV-K brake proportioning valve relocation bracket

    OME Exhaust Bracket (FK-21)

And yes, I put on the diff drop but it has not helped out....Here's a post of when I installed the lift:

I was reading up on the CV boot conversion thread and I was wondering if there is anybody in the Jackson area that can help me out with this since I'll be in Wyoming for the summer.

My thought is to buy the boots and have someone with experience help me with this. I'm pretty mechanically inclined but I have no tools or work space where I live. Also, I'd feel more comfortable leaving the boot mod up to an expert.

Check in to the wyo bs thread man.

Marc is the closest guy to you that is active. @SconnieHailer he is in lander.

That said. The boot slide mod isn't totally worth it sometimes.

Lifting a truck always makes the boots rub more. Have any pictures of the boots?
