    How hard is it to change cv boot and has anyone ever did the spilt boot

    x2 ive heard its easier to just buy a new axle, both of my front inners just blew out within 2 days of each other :mad:

    all pro lift, 33s, home made sliders, bumpers, skids
    it's easy to do. Having a snap ring pliers makes it easy actually. without it's a pain. But 10 bucks for a new boot is a lot nicer then 100 for a cv. if you do go new cv route i'd recommend ones with a warranty. that way you blow it or rip a boot and just make the auto store replace it
