CV boots touching on my 3" lift

    I have a 2009 4X4 4 banger reg cab, with the Revtek lift. I have heard that the boot fins touching each other is bad. The CV boots and some other boot under there, each have 2 fins that touch. Is this mostly only a wear issue when in 4 wheel drive?

    By the way I'm getting coilovers hopefully around Christmas. Was thinking of 6" but it's a daily driver so ummm no.
