CV Boots

2016 Tacoma DCSB 4x4 lifted 3", diff drop, with 85,000 miles. One of the cv was dryrotted and cracked shooting some grease. Took to dealer and they just rebooted the old axles since new ones were backordered. One week later and one of the boots either popped off, tore or the clamp broke. Can't tell too much grease everywhere. But, question.... Are there any aftermarket CV Boots that are for lifted trucks that have more angle on the CV axles? Boots that are longer, have more flex or something that can handle more of an angle?

 

Look into the boot slide mod or you can get "high angle" cv boots from cvjreman.com. Could always lower the truck a little as well.

More lift is not better IMO

 

CVJ Makes some of the better aftermarket CV's from what I have gathered in post I started a while back. I had an OME 2" hvy lift on a 2010. They do require the original Yota CV's or you get a core charge. All of their products are OEM Toyota remans. It's an option if you can't come up with anything else. The boot slide was brought up quite a bit as well.
