CV un-seat question / ARB front locker

    That goes on the inside of the inner seal that is almost impossible to get back on once it’s off like you have it.

    buy / burrow one of these for the install of the new one. Push it in as straight as you can.

    Also double check all the needles still in place. If they aren’t buy an ECGS bushing and go from there. (Needle bearing delete)

    Awesome, thank you! I will get that.

    If the needle bearing is worn out will it cause excessive play/motion when the axle is seated? The driver side definitely has way more play than the passenger side and I hope it's just a worn out needle bearing.

    Not necessarily. My driver side inner axle had lots of play which was one of the reasons I swapped out the bearing but after removing the bearing and inspecting it looked brand new. The lift and new angles might cause more play than stock.

    ARBs don't have needle bearings, they have bushings

    I just learned that this last weekend. I talked to a Ford Master Mechanic and he said the play in the driver side CV to the front diff was normal. So that was a relief!
