Nice! I called the ARE dealership the other day and he said that the weight limit was right around 200lbs, but told me that he had seem people carry a lot more than that before. Now I know I can use the tent as soon as I get it!!!
Here is what I am working with (this was before I installed the Yakima rail system)

Thanks for the info. I definitely do not do any jumping or what not. I am in the heart of the CO rockies, so mostly just rough roads at slow speeds. I am going to work with a friend to fab up some sliders this summer and maybe I will make a rack at that time, but now I am not in any rush! Plus now I know i can use this on either of my trucks.

I wasn't meaning that we could ONLY order at 4. I simply was meaning that we would cut OFF at 4, since I believe that is the maximum stack available for a single pallet.

There will be problems with anything where the zipper is on the ground and under water for any duration.
Ladders are not an issue anymore.(those were telescoping)
Minimum height 78" for full use give or take 5" and with the use of it in velcro mode 68" = or -. 1958193_10201356358141346_709807363_n.jpg

I'm building my new rack to have the bottom of the tent sit at 62". This will allow me to pull into my garage to load & unload the tent. Is it correct that the annex can still be used, just be mindful of water levels?

Sorry but I have to bow out... just glad there's more than enough to get the big discounts. Maybe next year? I need to help out one of my kids with a financial situation. Bailing out my child takes precedence. I'll hope there's another buy next March! Enjoy your new RTTs all! Thanks!

It would be a pallet for freight. Weight and dimensions. The ground is the size and weight. If people want to find their own shipping I would be happy as it would save us money. I understand everyone wants to save money but shipping is not cheap. Please feel free to get quotes. If you get a better price I would love to hear it.

Sounds like you and I have to deal with the same problem....7' garage doors.
My tent is about an even 5' off the ground. Its so-so functional the way it is but it would be nice to be able to stand up in the annex. Still, its nice to have in rainy weather - I just set up chairs under the tent and ride out the storm.

That's exactly my problem - a 7' garage opening. I was trying to decide between the LP rack and the Allpro pack rack. The Allpro is probably too high, but the LP is too low in standard config.

I talked to Eddy and he's going to raise it 6 inches which should give me 1-2" clearance with the ladder removed and lift installed.

Gravedgr I'm gonna be at plus 6" on the rack as well, not lifted yet but it will come, I guess there is an option to air down when you have to get in the garage for storage :D

Lol, that's exactly what I told my wife - we might have to air down to get in the garage. Maybe I'll play it safe and just raise the rack 4".

Just be aware the tent is approx 14", I would say +-1". They increase in height when you store your sleeping bag, pillow, etc. inside the tent when closed.
You also have to understand how they mount, on extruded aluminum rail that sits on your mounting surface. I have not measured my cvt rails but I would guess they are approx 3/4"-1" high. So add those variables and you are looking at 16"+.

    Just a heads up.

Now you guys have me wondering. Do you guys all take your RTT off the truck when not using the RTT? Or do you leave em on the truck? I don't DD my truck anymore so leaving it isnt a huge issue, however with the RTT the truck doesn't fit in my garage which has a 6ft 10 door. Maybe a valid excuse to get a suckdown winch now haha.

I leave mine on pretty much all year long. My truck with the RTT on it barely clears my garage door by 1/2"

    Hi Bobby

Just ordered a Mt Shasta through the GB. Want to upgrade this to the Mt Rainier (the anti booty sweat mat too) before it ships. Can you send me a paypal invoice for the difference. Please and thanks.

Can't wait to try it out :D

My dad swaps constantly between his shell, open bed and the rtt/bed rack. He setup a lift system in the shop. Works great.
