    Thanks!

    Had to rig up some paracord for the metal pole that holds up the overhang here. The only way I could mount it to the truck without it hanging of the back of the rack was so close to the truck that the pole wouldn't quite fit in the slot far enough to create tension. so my friend took some paracord and we made it work perfect haha

    Thanks. The first time setting it up is a pain to learn! Haha but I think I could get it down pretty quickly now.

    Need to set everything up again on solid ground to stake it down and drill a couple new holes in the ladder.

    May go camping tomorrow... Haha

    hmmm...wonder if anyone could convince him that its still going on :drevil:

    take some pliers and bend the end of the rod (about 1" up from end) just a little and see if you can't get it to slide into the base of the tent. I had to do that to one of mine too, tent is too close to the cab to get it in easily otherwise

    I am patient, so I just post here and wait for Bobby to reply. Only thing I am lacking in this order now is the anti-booty sweat mat, and the 79" awning. Tent is here, and while I am not ready to mount it on the rack yet (still waiting on the rack to get done and shipped) I did take it out of the box and inspect it. Everything looks good! So Bobby, just whenever you get caught up here, just let me know what we are expecting on the shipping of the mat and awning, and I still need to get you paid for shipping, so let me know what that total is as well. No hurries right yet. Just whenever you get time. Thanks man! :thumbsup:

    The hoist is pretty amazing. Being a sailor, I get the concept of blocks and lines and cleats and all, but somehow, lifting this thing off of the back of the truck with one hand just makes me grin! :p

    Yeah are we waiting on containers of these too? I can understand the tents but since these are shipping separately :(. Well at least you got your tent. I was asked by Bobby when I needed mine and I said I know others are in a bigger rush so mid June is fine NOW I have serious doubts, and am worried I'm gonna disappoint my son. Not a one trip guy but we had a special one planned and this tent was gonna make it work out great.

    Shasta, second day but he said I should have already gotten it. It was on the paid list but not shipping list. Weird. I am in no rush for it since my bed rack wont be ready for another week. Great guy to deal with! Just shoot him a PM or call the shop. He has been super busy.

    Got a good rain out here today. Opened up the tent and the side of the mattress facing the front of the truck was damp... :(

    Not sure why. Everything was zipped up and sealed where it could be....
