Any comments on if security nuts are worth it?? Or is this something that can be purchased at lowes or home depot?

I have a question - when i look at cvt's website the mt.rainer is listed for $1895. Even with the 25% discount listed here, the best one can do is about $1450. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just get a smitty bilt for $1099. Or is one so much better than the other that people here would gladly pay the extra $450 for the CVT? Just asking a question as a newb.

Smitty built? Gross! So in other words yes it's worth it. Bobby and the CVT crew have exceptional customer service.

You won't find security nuts at HD or Lowes. Worth it it? It's up to you for peace of mind. You won't find comparable nuts and tool for much less $ elsewhere. I have them, if someone really wanted to steal your shit a cordless sawzall would take it in less than 60 seconds.

Anyone know of any big differences in how the X one piece anti-condensation mat is compared to to the standard ant-condensation mats?

Wondering if Bobby has a trade in deal or if someone might be interested in my old one. It's a Shasta. It's been USED, not abused.

I used the regular hardware... they are nylock and the bolts I used are long as fuck...would take a week to undo them lol. I was also going to bend the bolts so the nut can't come off... if I needed to take it off id just grind the bolt

I would love to get a tent but noticed a couple pages back that the OP said you have to have posted at least fifty times to participate in the group buy. I just joined Tacoma World recently (this is my first post), could I still participate? Thanks!
