    Hey guys,

I have an older model CVT Mt. Baker hardshell tent. Long story short, I bought the tent used a while ago. At the beginning of the year while driving, the entire hardshell blew off the top of my tent and got run over during a rainstorm. I have contacted CVT asking for help on the issue. They Told me the tent was discontinued but would try to help me out. Ultimately CVT stopped responding to my emails. Disappointed with the customer service to be honest but that’s another topic. I understand the tent is out of warranty but at least tell me you can’t help and don’t string me along for months and ultimately ignore my emails. This is my third tent of theirs needless to say it will probably be my last.

Anyway, I am looking for feedback or help with how to get the shell replaced. I tried a couple ABS mold shops with negative results. The tent is still good I just need a new shell for it. Anyone have any ideas of what can be done or ideas of getting something on top to serve as a shell? I’m in Southern California, Redlands area. Thanks in advance. I have attached some pictures.

Sad, sorry to see this. If you don't mind a soft top, a good car and boat upholstery shop can make a waterproof cover for it.
