Good morning everybody. Hope you’re all doing well.

It’s been a busy weekend and week so far for me.

Saturday I was out playing with my antenna Jeff @kwanjangnihm. Actually it was antennas on the USS Alabama battleship. Mike and I drove over to Mobile, AL where the battleship is a museum for a D-Day remembrance event called Ships on the Air. Amateur radio clubs go out to different museum ships and do radio activations for people to “hunt” the ships contact. The radio club onboard the Alabama is part of their living history crew. Some of the guys were in period correct uniforms using the ships original radios to send Morse code messages to “hunters”. Mike and I just went over to check it out but after we introduced ourselves they put us to work in a different radio room using modern radios to do voice contacts for the event. It was good nerd fun!

Sunday was house cleaning day. The rest of this week we are babysitting the grandkids because my son was voluntold to attend some last minute training at work.

I’ve got the early shift this morning so I’m catching up while the girls are still asleep.

    Have a great day!
