Yeah no good, I get some occasional vision issues and lots of migraines a month from staring into my computer for to many hours lol

Good morning guys. Happy Friday eve.

Mark, have you tried some of the ”blue light” glasses for your computer vision issues? I got a pair a few years ago and they do seem to help with eye fatigue from staring at the screen all day.

My BIL hopefully gets his vision back Saturday. Dual cataract lens replacement. Said it’s so bad it’s like Vaseline smeared on your glasses then dried & more smeared over that. Don’t know how the Man functions.

Thanks, scared the hell off of me too!

Sending good mojo his way Eddie :fingerscrossed: I’ve got a cataract forming in the left eye too.

On a positive note for me, my doctor's tech called me before lunch. She stated the conversation with “this is Shelby from Center for Sight, don’t freak out”. I had to chuckle at that. She went on to tell me she had spoken directly with the retina specialist and voiced my concerns over waiting until the 26th to see him.

That doc looked at the current retina pics along with the past several years worth and said he didn’t see anything of immediate concern. He would have told me to come back on the 26th if I had seen him yesterday. He said that will give the hemorrhage time to heal so he can get a better look. Call his office immediately if there is any more floaters or sudden vision changes and he will get me right in but he sees no cause for concern right now and to tell me this is actually pretty common in guys my age o_O

I feel a little better now except for the age comment…

I’ve known a few guys who have had it done, all with fantastic results. Ordinarily I’m told they usually do one eye at a time but my BIL’s is so bad they said he’d get virago bc the brain can’t comprehend the difference. Sounds like you’re in good hands.

Mowing here today, kids house tomorrow, and wife’s shop sunday. Grandbabies Monday!

No truck plans but I did this over the past few weeks

Got rid of the rats nest of wires running to my house battery. Now just the 2 cables to the battery terminals and everything else to the left side midi fuse block. There is a 10 awg 50A lead running to the bed for another secondary fuse block back there that I still need to install. Right fuse block is for any in cab electrics I want to add. The inside fuse block is pre wired and terminated in Anderson plugs so I can make connections easy without having to pull the plastic trim to run the wires.

    Nice neat work :101010:

After a lifetime spent in factories I saw plenty of amazingly bad work -- ended up fixing it too...

The building at my last job was apparently wired (and plumbed) by drunk monkeys on a Saturday morning after an all night bender - the fact that the place never burned flat to the ground is a minor miracle, the owners should have bought lottery tickets with luck like that.

Electrical work is about 20% understanding math & rules and 80% workmanship.

Sure there are plenty of crappy looking jobs that are technically OK, however most of the time sloppy work means sloppy "homework" done too.

On the other hand they guy who does nice work almost always does the due diligence to make sure his math and rules are correct too.

Thanks. I purposely didn’t take any pics of the multiple wires and fuse holders that were originally there lol. It was technically done correctly but it looked sketchy and I always worried about it. This makes me feel much better.
