Good morning John and the rest of you too.

High heat warning was posted at 0700 this morning since I have planned on pressure washing the front porch  Let me get to it before it gets too bad

I like to spy - doesn't mean I'm good at it...

I'll watch some more 70s TV detective shows and work on my technique. ;)

Good afternoon guys. I got about 2/3 of the porch done before the heat really cranked up. Will finish in the morning

Nightstalker was one my favorites ... not detective, but unique I thought.

... and Kojak ... "who loves ya baby."

Heck ... might hafta follow suit; better than 3/4 of crap on nowadays. IMGOBO

We were fortunate to grow up in an era of quality television, I have many different shows on DVD now. I'm currently working my way through "The FBI" with
    Efrem Zimbalist Jr..

It is fun to see so many actors who later became very famous when they were just starting out. Most of the detective shows had a lot of outdoor scenes too so there is a lot of footage of the then brand new cars & the street scenes of the day.

I really enjoy the less famous character actors who appeared in many of the 60s & 70s shows. Kolchack had Simon Oakland, his particular specialty was playing short tempered hot head characters.

    I liked Night Stalker too!

Totally agree on the older shows being better, I watch a lot of them on streaming services. Been long enough I don’t remember many of them either

Good morning guys :hattip: Headed out to finish the last little bit of pressure washing on the front of the house then it’s inside in the AC for the rest of the day. Have a good one!

I think "they" try too hard to be realistic these days. The old shows understood they were making entertainment ... the good guys usually won in the end ... that's a strong message missing too often. Again, IMGOBO. ;)
