Cyberpunk2077 Caution, will contain spoilers

Been able to play a bit more, still no real issues.

Sad all the shit they are getting. But they should of just released it for what they new what it was going to work on.

 

Yeh i don't understand it seems to play better on my Xbox one x than the next gen systems.

I've also pretty much stopped playing. I keep sitting down to play a few games and then I play something else. The game is very repetitive and, once you have all the fun weapons and hacks, it feels pretty empty. Even the cars aren't worth collecting, there's one or two that are fun and the rest are meh.

 

I just wish the Mule car didn't have an impossibly awful windshield glare so that if the suns up you can't see in first person.... I have messed with settings and can't get rid of the awful glare.

 

I find driving needs a lot of work in the game. We're all probably spoiled by GTA5, but driving around in Cyberpunk feels like driving in GTA3 with better graphics lol.

 

I thought that as well. Everything feels like its on ice.

 

I end up finishing the main story with some side quest, total 47hrs at level 29. I played on my older Razer laptop with a GTX 1060, separate monitor and keyboard/mouse. I didn’t get any crashes while playing and had around 30FPS on HIGH @ 1080p.

There is a lot missing from this game. I’m no expert but I’ve played my share of great games in the past couple decades. This one is not on the list. It’s not the bugs or glitches either.
The main story is lacking and focus way too much on Johnny. I found some of the side quest story better than the main story. Hopefully their first DLC in the summer will have better content added. I even think if they made Jackie the main protagonists with his own story it would of been a lot better. Maybe I said it already but I’ll say it again, GTA with a mix of Dues Ex.

You can tell where they put most of the work cause there are parts that are amazing. Zooming in you get to see all the detail work but then you see other areas that are polar opposites and look terrible. I'll continue to mess around a bit and try mods as they flow in but this is definitely a game for PC. Some random pic I took in the game.

Had they just not released last gen consoles they could have saved themselves some embarrassment. They still bit off way more than they could chew and spent too much in advertising. Side note; The SureAI modders who made the Skyrim mod game Enderal are working on their first commercial game. Maybe the same will happen to Cyberpunk. Some good mod talent will make the game better than before.

 

Agreed. This game is ok and hopefully with more time and some DLC it could be, dare I say, great. With my playthrough on PC, at least 40hrs, finishing the main quest and some side quest, I didn't encounter many bugs or glitches. I didn't even have it crash once if I remember correctly. It's the over promised and lies about how CDPR was different. The main story is also lacking depth and focus way too much on "Johnny's quest".

My guess is they knew they couldn't finish the game they promised so they tried to win us over with Keanu while abandoning everything else that wasn't finished.
