In the three second gens I’ve had I find it to be the carrier bearing. Pretty easy to diagnose. Just grab the drive line on both sides of the carrier and see if it will wiggle. Is it really pronounced when you are accelerating on to the highway? It shouldn’t be happening this soon but the driveshaft on these trucks is a bad design. I’m having a one piece built next go around. I just spent $500 having all the U joints and carrier replaced at a local shop. Should have done it then but I was in a hurry.

im thinkin about putting a carrier bearing drop on it to to help align the drive shaft up better and see if that helps my vib issue.

My dealer ended up saying it was a problem with my trailer, not the truck. They said since it only happened under load that it must be the load itself causing it. They proved it by hooking up my trailer to a used truck on the lot and got their truck to vibrate the same way. I wasn't there to witness this but I do believe them and I just got sick of chasing this around so I'm done with it for now.

I'm sure there's validity to the carrier bearing @dustinJ and others mention, I'll probably dig further into that next spring but I'm kind of over it for now...

Good luck and please let me know what you find.

That's a good idea from what I've read around here. My problem with this vibration is that my truck isn't lifted. I believe the consensus is that the carrier bearing causes more problems on lifted trucks than stock ones but it's possible my carrier bearing is going bad too.
