haha the only pedals i actual removed were the passenger pegs, removed to be replaced by locking stunt pegs that wont fold in when i stand on them. mile long highway wheelie match is more my style, we'll compare bikes on a couple different fields and see what happens lol

    909tacoma,

Glad to see another Specialized fan. What year FSR XC is that? I am pretty sure that the upside down one is an 07 Rockhopper Comp Disc. Yes?

Though what's with the Schwinn in there with those two from the Big Red S.

Here are some of my toys.

My 2007 Specialized FSR XC pro. The color is rare as the flat green was only available as a "test bike" sent to dealers to let people try out, and I happened to come across one, and that's all I'll say about that.
    l_1917c6136b7f413b07ecb7297f13886d_ac6c5b34eb2ce11cb7a0bb3698600ef24831d4e0.jpg

My 2006 Specialized S-Works Tarmac E5. This bike was made from an E5 Aluminium S-works frame which was then cut in half and a carbon top half bonded on. Also pretty rare, and it rides like a dream.
    l_e1be8da765ca04ff223c512c143a51bd_fe56030c71593bcb54d4803196213b212d691f76.jpg

My wife's 2006 Specialized FSR XC, also fully customized.
    l_5908614f1a842603f84f6c0ca5d5947b_af208d9ccce6d7a3607124a7b23e8fa2938653c5.jpg

The wife's "rainy day bike." (2007 Specialized Dolce, though not much remains from stock)
    l_c96e38f43e2e59aafadb17f731ba2e17_9752fe4bf916172e8385ff9b8d006648dc980cb5.jpg

And my better half's "fair weather bike" (2006 Specialized Ruby Comp)
    l_6df2c01359e9968abe06ae96a325fab0_142fa4c6196909ca5eb73e4a69eb32c1d6b4c012.jpg

Yes, three of those pictures are bikes that belong to the wife, but since I am the one who built, customized, and still puts in the wrench time on them I figure I am justified in showing them off here. I also have one more road bike that I ride as well, but I just finished building it a week or so ago, and have not had the chance to photograph it yet, so I'll post that one when I get time.

Sorry to hog the thread, but as you can see I am moderately obsessed with bikes. Hell, probably what keeps my truck from having as many Mods as PB's truck, is that I have bikes to tinker with too. LOL.

Very, nice. Way more travel than I have a use for, but a nice ride none the less, and I'm always pleased to see more Specialized riders.

I need all the travel I can get - I ride only downhill here in the Rocky's, and plus I don't pedal, it wears out the chain.

I can respect that. Here in South Jersey it's more or less completely flat, so we don't see or sell too much in the way of hardcore downhill bikes, but I am still impressed by them as well as the people that have the stones to do 35-40 MPH down a rock strewn trail. You are a braver man that I.

Enjoy yourself out there and keep the rubber side down.
